Community Development Director Frolik noted that there are several issues that would have to <br />be addressed if that development were to occur such as a community septic system. <br />City Administrator Norman stated that staff was not proposing to discuss the development at this <br />time. <br />Mayor Gamec inquired as to what the current zoning was on the property. <br />Community Development Director Frolik replied commercial. <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired as to when the property was zoned commercial. <br />Community Development Director Frolik replied that it has been zoned commercial for at least <br />15 years. <br />2) Meeting Lunches <br />Councilmember Kurak suggested that Councilmembers and staff who need to eat prior to the <br />meetings contribute money towards the lunches so that they can eat something that is decent to <br />get them through the long evenings <br />City Administrator Norman replied that if people want to donate to offset the cost that is fine, but <br />he doesn't want it to be a big accounting process. He stated that staff would start ordering <br />lunches again and then anyone who wants to contribute to the cost they can. <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that they want to make sure that they are covering the costs of the <br />lunches so that it does not have to come out of the general fund. <br />3) Expense /Accounts Payable <br />Councilmember Pearson stated that when he first started on the Council he had some questions in <br />regards to some large bills he was seeing, but now he has become more familiar with the <br />accounts payable. <br />City Administrator Norman stated that if Councilmembers ever have any questions do not <br />hesitate to contact staff. <br />4) Helicopter Ordinance <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that the City Attorney is currently in the <br />process of reviewing the ordinance and staff will be bringing it forward to an upcoming work <br />session. <br />City Council Work Session/June 10, 2003 <br />Page 6 of 8 <br />
