wife, as joint tennants and not as tenants in common, by warranty deed dated September <br />18, 1958, filed for record December 29, 1958 and recorded in Book 435 of Deeds, page <br />305 except a strip of Lannd 66.00 feet in width over that part of Lot 12, Auditor's <br />Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County, Minnesota. The northeasterly line of said strip of <br />land lies 190.00 feet southwesterly of and parallel with the southwesterly right of way line <br />of U.S. Trunk Highway No. 10 and 169, as measured along the westerly line of Poplar <br />Drive (now known as Tungsten Street NW) as dedicated in the plat of Dickenson's <br />Mississippi Estate on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota. Said strip of land is to extend westerly by its full width from the <br />westerly line of said Poplar Drive to the east line of the west 502.74 feet of Government <br />Lot 1, Section 35, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, as measured at <br />right angles to the west line of said Government Lot 1. <br />And <br />Lot 8, Auditor's Subdivision No. 96 together with that part of Lot 7 of said Auditors <br />Subdivision No. 96 lying northerly of the easterly extension of the north line of the south <br />100 feet of Lot 5, Auditors Subdivision No. 96, except the westerly 12 feet thereof and <br />excepting the road. <br />(the Subject Property) <br />AND WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan approved in 2002 shows the subject property <br />designated land use as Places to Work; and <br />WHEREAS, the Petitioners are requesting that the subject property designated land use be <br />changed to Low Density Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on August 7, 2003, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the request for an amendment to <br />the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the adjacent land uses are designated as Low Density Residential and Places to <br />Work; and <br />WHEREAS, the City finds that based on the hardship the Places to Work designation causes <br />to the affected homeowners and the fact that single - family homes currently exist on the subject <br />properties, a land use designation of Low Density Residential is appropriate . <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of <br />the Subject Property from Places to Work to Low Density Residential for the following parcels. <br />PID #s <br />35.32.25.31.0015 35.32.25.31.0018 35.32.25.32.0024 <br />35.32.25.32.0025 35.32.25.32.0026 35.32.25.32.0048 <br />35.32.25.32.0057 <br />RESOLUTION #03 -10 -276 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
