LUTHERAN CHURCH <br />April 9, 2014 <br />Chris Anderson <br />City of Ramsey <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />RE: Extension of Improvement Deadline <br />Dear Chris, <br />Please be advised that Cross of Hope would like to extend its current improvement deadline, <br />currently schedule to end on June 15, 2014, to June 15, 2015. <br />The reason. for the request continues to be the pending litigation with our previous contractor, <br />Schoenrock Sons, Inc., who filed a lien against the church property. Notwithstanding the lien <br />filed, the contractor made errors in construction of the parking lot, which will require some <br />amount of mitigation. Therefore, Cross of Hope would like to wait until conclusion of the <br />litigation so as to not create more work than necessary (i.e. installing landscaping that will have <br />to be moved, etc.). <br />Again, this request only relates to the landscaping in front of the building as well as the area <br />adjacent the east end of the parking lot, out to approximately 25 feet.
