The flashing lights would alert the motorist of the approaching <br />crosswalk. Examples of different styles of crosswalk systems will be presented at the meeting. The following are <br />approximate prices for the various systems. A standard crosswalk installation is included for price comparison. <br />Standard Crosswalk Signage and Installation <br />Signs -4 signs installed at $200.00 /sign - $800.00 <br />Pedestrian Ramps - $600.00- $1000.00 /ramp (depending on bids) <br />Crosswalk Striping - $250.00 <br />Total Cost- $2050.00 (including 1 curb cut at highest price) <br />Single Flashing Strobe System (light flashes above crosswalk sign 24/7 solar powered) <br />Standard Crosswalk Signage and Installation - $2050.00 <br />Single Flashing Strobe (2) at $995.00 each <br />Total System Cost - $4040.00 <br />Flashing LED Lights Embedded in Crosswalk Sign (light flashes in crosswalk sign 24/7 solar powered) <br />Standard Crosswalk Signage and Installation - $2050.00 <br />LED Lighting Kit (2) at $995.00 each <br />Total System Cost - $4040.00 <br />Pedestrian Activated Crosswalk (flashes only when crosswalk is being actively used /solar powered) <br />Crosswalk Sings and Installation - $600.00 <br />Pedestrian Ramps- $600.00- $1000.00 /ramp depending on bids <br />Crosswalk Striping - $250.00 <br />Solar Flashing LED Crossing Lights w/ push buttons (2)- $2225.00 each <br />Total- System Cost- $6300.00 <br />Timeframe: <br />10 -15 minutes <br />
