EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />A. INTRODUCTION <br />The purpose of this report is to provide the City of Ramsey with the necessary <br />information regarding the City's water supply, treatment storage, and distribution system <br />so the City can establish priorities, plan, fund and implement required future water system <br />improvements. <br />The City of Ramsey is projected to grow substantially over the next 10 to 20 years. For <br />overall planning purposes, population projections and water use estimates will be <br />developed to the year 2020. Infrastructure development plans will be projected to meet <br />the system needs for the next 10 years, to the year 2014. <br />B. WATER USE PROJECTIONS <br />Development in the City of Ramsey has been designated as either "rural" development or <br />"urban" development. In the past, no water services were planned for the rural <br />development areas.
