tMetropolitan Council <br />June 23, 2004 <br />Sandy Fecht <br />Mississippi River Critical Area/MNRRA Hydrologist <br />DNR Waters <br />500 Lafayette Road <br />St. Paul, MN 55155-4032 <br />RE: Submission of the City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Hwy 10 Mixed Use Area <br />Council Recommendation and Evaluation <br />Metropolitan Council Referral File 18160-16 <br />Metropolitan Council District 9 (Natalie Steffen) <br />Dear Ms. Fecht: <br />The Metropolitan Council staff is pleased to transmit the final draft of the City of Ramsey's <br />comprehensive plan amendment affecting lands within the Mississippi River Critical Area Corridor, the <br />Council's recommendation, and a written evaluation of the plan's consistency with regional objectives and <br />Executive Order 79-19. <br />The Council received the City's amendment on April 16, 2004, and found it complete for review on April <br />29, 2004. On June 10, 2004, the Council extended the 60 -day review period to until August 14, 2004 to <br />accommodate the Council's meeting schedule. On June 23rd, the Council took fmal action on the <br />amendment. <br />Attached is the amendment's information summary, the Council's review report and recommendations for <br />your consideration. <br />If there are any questions, please contact Tori Dupre, Principal Reviewer, at 651 602-1621.
