s) Request to End Probationary Period for Full-Time Community Development Assistant, Christopher Anderson The Personnel Committee recommended that the CitY CoUncil adopt Resolution #03-01-019 ending the probationary period for full-time CommunitY Development Assistant, Christopher Anderson, effective January 1, 2003. Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the recommendation of the Personnel Committee. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Cook, ElVig, Pearson, Strommen, .and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #6: Report from the Finance Committee The Finance Committee met on January 14, 2003, and discussed the following cases: 1) Resolution Approving the City of Ramsey's 2004 BUdget Calendar The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #03-01-020 approving the City of Ramsey's 2004 budget calendar. 2) Authorizing Issuance and Awarding the Sale of $945,000 General Obligation Tax Increment Refunding Bonds of 2003 The Finance Committee recommended that the CitY Council adopt Resolution #03-01-021 authorizing the issuance and awarding the sale of $945,000 General Obligation Tax Increment Refunding Bonds of 2003. 3) City of Ramsey Capital Improvement/Capital Outlay Plan 2003-2007. The Council was presented the 2003-2007 CIP for their review. The Council will discuss the CIP during a work session in February. 4) Consider Transportation Consulting and Advocacy Services The Finance Committee recommended that the CitY Council direct staff to negotiate the contract with Mr. Tinklenberg and bring it back for final authorization and that the CitY Council join the Minnesota Transportation Alliance.
