2) That, the City of Ramsey accepts the Federal grant award of $490,000 dollars from the <br />National Park Service to be used as the local match to secure the balance of funding for <br />the Mississippi Skyway within years 2014 to 2017. <br />3) That, the City of Ramsey shall build an alliance of regional stakeholders to seek funding <br />for the skyway that is anticipated to cost between 2.6 to more than 3 million dollars for a <br />structure with a roof. <br />4) That approval of this Resolution does not obligate the City of Ramsey to build the <br />proposed Mississippi Skyway, nor allocate any monies to the proposed project. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />none <br />and the following abstained: <br />none <br />and the following were absent: <br />none <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this 27th day of May, 2014. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
