Staff was recently informed QCTV has
scheduled all non- performing cameras within the Council Chambers to be replaced within the next
month. This work was expedited in response to inquiries made by the City. As a result, all cameras
should be up and running in August (no more awkward camera angles). As the Council may recall,
new QCTV recording equipment and required AV infrastructure also needs to be replaced in the
Council Chambers. This work will be completed by the originally proposed deadline— October
2014.
QCTV: New Proposed Programming. As the Council knows, QCTV shoots a bi- monthly
`Video Edition' of the Ramsey Resident. This program includes a staff member and
Councilmember that co- anchor a broadcast calling on out -in- the -field reports from other staff
members. This program replaced the former `Council Update' program that took place 2X per
month —the day after Council meetings.
