UNCONTROLLED CROSSING TREATMENTS <br />Uncontrolled crossing treatments generally provide some level of in- <br />creased yielding rate. They are typically applied to locations with marked <br />crosswalks to provide additional operational and safety benefits in areas <br />with higher volumes and speeds. <br />Uncontrolled crossing treatement options are outlined in Table 3 on page <br />23 (treatments should be justified through an engineering study) .
