From: JadeBelle@aol.com [mailto:JadeBelle@aol.com]
Sent: Tuesday, July 29, 2014 8:45 PM
To: Chris Anderson
Cc: Thomas Olson
Subject: dog license for D, Mattson
candersonc ci.ramsev.mn.us and cc to tolsonc ci.ramsev.mn.us
My name is Cathy Rosenthal and I have lived close to Diane and Dave
Mattsen for over 20 years. My house is across the street and down one
house at 14060 Germanium St NW. Since we are both dog owners we chat
frequently. I am aware that Diane is now looking to acquire a dog license for
12 to 14 adult dogs. I know she only has Shih-tzus and King Charles
Cavaliers that are considered lap sitters. The dogs are smaller, about 5 to 10
lbs., and are very well behaved. She only allows them outside in a separate
area that is totally concealed from the outside. Her dogs are only let out to
potty between the hours of eight a.m. and eight thirty p.m. so that she doesn't
disturb anyone in the neighborhood; I have never heard them outside beyond
these hours. She has always been very careful with her dogs so they don't
cause any noise to annoy any of the neighbors. I am totally behind her desire
to be able to take in dogs that have been misplaced until they find a new
home. She cares very deeply for her dogs and the ones she cares for. I am
sure she will always protect them and love them. I would trust my animals
with her anytime, so she has my vote to acquire this license. Any questions
please call me at 763-444-1255.
Thanks,
Cathy Rosenthal
2
