ORDINANCE #14-10 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS <br />ZONING AND SUBDIVISIONS OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 117-115 (B-2 HIGHWAY BUSINESS DISTRICT) AND <br />117-120 (H-1 HIGHWAY 10 BUSINESS DISTRICT) OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE. <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2 AMENDMENTS <br />Section 117-115 Subd. (d) is amended to ADD the following language: <br />(81 Open and outdoor storaae. includina seasonal storaae of self-propelled marine eauipment. as an <br />accessory use not to exceed 30 percent of the property provided that (this Section takes <br />precedence over other provisions of this Chapter as it relates to this District): <br />a. Storaae area may only be located in the side or rear yard. The storaae area may not be <br />located in the front yard. <br />b. Storaae area is surfaced with concrete or bituminous with continuous B6/12 concrete curb <br />and autter if located in the side yard. <br />c. Storaae area may be surfaced with Class V Gravel in the rear yard only provided that: <br />1. The aravel depth must be at least two (2) inches. <br />2. The storaae area must be setback at least 20 feet from public riahts of way. <br />3. The storaae area must be setback at least 35 feet from adiacent residential <br />properties. <br />4. The aravel surface must be kept free of veaetative cover and routinely maintained. <br />5. The size of the aravel surface may not exceed the size of areas surfaced with <br />concrete or bituminous on the property or 20 percent of the aross lot area. whichever is <br />less. <br />d.
