Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should attempt to minimize the
environmental impacts on the Mississippi River specifically and its surrounding
environs and "built environment" in general.
2. Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should minimize the need for Right -Of -
Way (ROW) acquisition.
3. Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should minimize the potential to impact
the existing railroad corridor.
4. Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should minimize impact on existing
residential neighborhoods.
5. Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should terminate at an east -west
collector road in the City of Ramsey.
6. Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should be built from a source of
multijurisdictional funds.
7 Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should attempt to incorporate a north
frontage road along TH- l 0.
Table 1 below compares the separate bridge condor alignments listed using the revised goals
and criteria. This table is illustrative in nature. The City will want to develop a similar table
when discussing actual bridge crossing corridors.
