The <br />comprehensive plans and land use maps of adjacent local <br />governments will also be reviewed for possible land use <br />issues and conflicts. <br />Product: Memorandum summarizing possible land use issues <br />and conflicts. <br />1.2 Evaluate Existing Land Uses and Land Use Policies <br />In conjunction with City staff and City policymakers, <br />prepare an existing conditions map for each land use type <br />that identifies existing residential, commercial, <br />industrial, and public land uses. Prepare a memo <br />identifying areas of potential land use inconsistencies and <br />impacts. As part of this memo, summarize existing land use <br />policies. <br />Product: A map showing existing residential, commercial, <br />industrial and public land uses; a land use matrix <br />summarizing existing land uses; a memorandum <br />summarizing possible land use inconsistencies and <br />existing land use policies. <br />1.3 Evaluate General Areas of Potential Land Use Changes <br />Using the land use maps and memorandum generated as part of <br />task 1.2, and in conjunction with City staff, identify <br />general areas where existing land uses may be revised.
