City of Ramsey 2014 Mississippi River Trail Phase 1 Riverdale Boulevard from Armstrong Boulevard to Mississippi West Regional Park Scope of Services ASSUMPTIONS For the purpose of this proposal, we have assumed the following: • Plans and linework completed by the City of Ramsey for the Riverdale Drive Extension and Reconstruction project will be used as the base drawing and no additional preliminary surveying will be required. • Private and public utility coordination will be completed with the City's Riverdale Drive project. • Project permitting and all storm water requirements associated with the Lower Rum River Watershed Management Organization will have been completed by the City of Ramsey in associated with the Riverdale Drive project. • No geotechnical exploration will be required. • All work will occur within existing Right of Way. • Pedestrian Curb Ramps will be installed under City project. TASK 1: PROJECT MANAGEMENT Our project manager will work closely with the City of Ramsey's project manager to ensure clear and consistent communication is occurring. Bolton & Menk will have ongoing communications with City staff throughout the project. Communications will also be ongoing with MnDOT. TASK 2: PUBLIC AND AGENCY COMMUNICATION Kickoff Meeting A kickoff meeting was previously held with the City of Ramsey staff to relay information and to provide Bolton & Menk with the information they need to get an immediate start on this project. City Meetings Additional meetings will be held with the City of Ramsey staff. These meetings will discuss findings, issues, schedule, and needs to keep the project progressing. Mn/DOT Meetings Bolton & Menk and the City met with MnDOT to discuss the project. Bolton & Menk will hold two additional coordination meetings with MnDOT as we move through the Authorization process. TASK 3: PROJECT MEMORANDUM Task was completed previously. Plans and specifications will be prepared in substantial conformity to the Project Memorandum.
