Providing safety training to all employees and supervisors. <br />1L3 Health and Personal Safety <br />Health and personal safety are some of the best guarantees for the successful performance of <br />emplovees'vour work. Employees mustYour earning power and entire future depend on your <br />health and personal safity. Thitlli and work safely using the safety devices and equipment <br />provided by the City for theiiyour protection. Employees must promptly report safety hazards to <br />their supervisor. Unsafe conditions -rill b i invostigatod and <br />corrected. <br />Workers' Compensation /Iniuries and Illness at Work <br />Both Minnesota Worker's Compensation laws and the state and federal Occupational Safety and <br />Health Acts require that all on the iob iniuries and illnesses be reported as soon as possible by the <br />employee, or on behalf of the inured or ill employee, to his/her supervisor. The employee's <br />immediate supervisor is required to complete a First Report of Iniury and any other forms that may <br />be necessary related to an injury or illness on the iob.
