He <br />indicated nothing is done without notice, : and not:ice has been sent in this case. He stated the <br />developer is saying this ~s what they propo;Se,He indicated he thinks the developer still has a <br />right to go to Preliminary Plat. He stated ata:~ture meeting they would see preliminary plat and <br />a MUSA irequest, andi'Ultimately the City Q~uncil will need to decide. He indicated while he is <br />sure the developer.: is hear/ng loUd and'clear the Planning Commission's thoughts, he believes <br />they should aSgum~:they will be seeing a preliminary plat. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt indicated fi-om that point of view, as mentioned, there are significant wetlands. <br />He stated it seems laid:out.to:maximize them, and without drainage and ~ading it is hard to tell <br />if all the l'ots will be abl~il.t° be built, but he does not have a problem with single-family homes if <br />MUSA is extended. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked if the MUSA expansion is separate. <br /> <br />Assistant COmmunity Development Director Trudgeon stated it is a separate action. He <br />indicated this is only the Comprehensive Plan amendment, but if they do not approve MUSA, the <br />developer cannot proceed. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt questioned why they would only do it for 23 acres if they were going.to do an <br />extension.
