Commissioner Nosan supported the request with the proposed dates. <br />Commissioner Bauer agreed stating he did not want to see the applicant sacrifice additional <br />green space for the winter storage of boats. He suggested that the fencing requirement be <br />waived as the Skeeter Boat property was nice screened by trees. <br />Commissioner VanScoy supported the request but noted he had concerns with the conflicting <br />language within the proposed Ordinances as the H-1 zoning district was more restrictive than the <br />B-2 zoning district. <br />Community Development Director Gladhill commented the surfacing language was the only area <br />being proposed for amendment. He indicated that all other language was already in City Code <br />and was not being addressed this evening. He reported he could revise the H-1 code to read 30% <br />of the lot could be used for outdoor storage. <br />Chairperson Levine recommended that both zoning districts be allowed to have up to 30% of the <br />lot be used for outdoor storage. The Commission agreed. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissi • VanScoy, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Bauer, VanScoy, and Nosan. <br />Voting No: None.
