Alternative #2 - Motion to deny accepting bids and awarding a contract for Improvement Project 14-24 this time. <br />Funding Source: <br />This project is proposed to be funded almost entirely with TOD grant funds not to exceed $650,369. Staff is <br />currently of the understanding that the only ineligible costs that the City will be responsible for funding are for <br />topsoil, landscaping, and turf establishment, which are estimated to cost less than $20,000. <br />No assessments are proposed to be levied with this project. <br />Recommendation: <br />Hakanson Anderson and City staff recommend adopting Resolution 14-09-181 accepting bids and awarding a <br />contract to Douglas -Kerr Underground, LLC in the amount of $483,331.31 for Improvement Project 14-24, Center <br />Street Improvements — Sunwood Drive to Ramsey Parkway.
