PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on <br />Tuesday, June 12, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 <br />Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular COuncil meeting to order at <br />7:41 p.m. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Jim Armstrong - 8501 156th - Stated he is having a drainage <br />problem which is polluting the swamp to the rear of his <br />property, affecting the neighboring properties of Poemraning <br />and Johnson and has wiped out his drainfield. Have been told <br />by City Inspector that there is no drainage easement and even <br />if there were, there's no place for the water to go. <br /> <br />Council consensus is that the City Engineer, City Building <br />Official and City Streets Superintendent review the problem <br />area and report back to Council at it's next meeting. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember <br />Van Wagner to approve the agenda with the addition of the <br />following: <br /> <br />Case #11: Landfill <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case ~1: <br /> <br />Robert And Bonnie Johnson To Discuss Proposed Assessment <br /> <br />On Lot 2, Block 5, Rolling Green Addi'tion: <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that the Johnson's have two lots in Rolling Green <br />in addition to their homestead and they want to combine the lots <br />in order to reduce their assessments for street improvements. <br /> <br />C/June 12, 1984 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
