PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKACOUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Thursday, May 24, <br />1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Reporter Carolyn Thompson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular Council meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. and <br />requested that Mr. Tony Baker lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented to Mr. Tony Baker an award recognizing Mr. Baker for <br />his volunteer repair work at the warming house and his accomplishment of <br />the Eagle Scout Badge. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec also noted that there are some representatives of the Ramsey <br />JayCee's in the audience and stated that they were responsible for painting <br />a couple of homes for senior citizens, i~, <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC HEAi~INGS <br /> <br />The regular Council meeting adjourned at 7:43 p.m. in order to conduct the <br />following Board of Adjustment public hearings: <br /> <br />1. Board of Adjustment variance request on accessory building; case of <br /> Mr. John Hoglund. <br /> <br />2. Board of Adjustment variance request on accessory building; case of <br /> Mr. Scott Springer. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Mayor Gamec, for further <br />discussion, to not take Board of Adjustment action at this time but rather <br />to follow the regular order of business as listed in the agenda. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Gamec stated that the Board of Adjustment should <br />be moved up on the agenda in order that the applicants do not have to wait <br />until the very end of tonight's meeting.
