COUNCIL BUSINESS 7.01: Introduce Ordinance #14 -10 Amending Section 117 -115 (13-2 Highway Business District) and 117 -120 (H -1 Highway 10 Business District) Allowing for Additional Open and Outdoor Storage; Case of Skeeter Boat Centers Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and recommendation of staff and the Planning Commission to introduce an ordinance allowing for additional open and outdoor storage as it balances the needs of existing businesses, economic development goals, and existing policies. Motion by Councilmember Backous, seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, to Introduce Ordinance #14 -10 Amending Section 117 -115 (B -2 Highway Business District) and 117 -120 (H- 1 Highway 10 Business District) of the Ramsey City Code. Further discussion: The Council supported having a process and method in place to evolve the ordinance and make adjustments should a relevant issue come forward. Motion carried.
