Boulevard interchange and Highway 10 Access Planning Study. He agreed there had not been <br />support relating to CR 47 but Anoka also has to deal with the alignment through the County <br />Fairgrounds. City Administrator Ulrich stated Anoka did recently reject the creation of a <br />Highway 10 Alliance but staff continues to work together to discuss the issues and expect <br />cooperation. The option was raised to work with the City of Anoka and Anoka County to <br />relocate the County Fairgrounds. Councilmember Tossey agreed that the City of Anoka wants to <br />continue to work with Ramsey on Highway 10 improvements but did not support hiring a <br />consultant to prepare a study, which he understands. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Kuzma, <br />Backous, Johns, Riley, and Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced that this is the last meeting for Economic Development <br />Manager LaFrance who will be moving on to a private business interest. He extended the City's <br />appreciation to Mr. LaFrance. City Administrator Ulrich announced that Assistant to the City <br />Administrator Brama has been promoted to Assistant City, Administrator/Economic <br />Development Manager. <br />City Administrator Ulrich reported on Happy Days events and thanked staff and sponsors who <br />assured it was a success. He also reported on rentals at Residence at The COR, on -going road <br />projects, September 16, 2014, Public Works Committee agenda items, and upcoming meetings <br />and events. <br />The Council added comments relating to the success of Happy Days. <br />9.
