Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Receivin9 Price Quotes on Pet Clinic: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />adopt Resolution #84-73 accepting the price quote from Dr. Ellen Bowman, <br />D.V.M., of the St. Francis Veterinary Clinic for Ramsey's spring Pet Clinic. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-73). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #16: Request For Variance; Case Of Mr. Ronald Danner, Danner's Cabinet <br /> <br />Shop: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />grant Mr. Danner the fOllowing: 'i. ~ <br /> <br />1) A two year extension to the blacktop parking lot requirement. <br /> <br />2) A variance to the second bathroom requirement if Mr. Danner remodels <br /> the present bathroom to accomodate the handicapped. <br /> <br />3) A variance to the sprinkler system requirement until municipal water <br /> becomes available. <br /> <br />Further, that the above items shall be included in the development agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution #84-74 that sprinkler systems are not required in areas where <br />municipal water is not available but that it must be installed 30 days <br />after the availability of municipal water. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #84-74). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that the City could get into a situation where there would be <br />a large loss of life and it might not be wise of the City to carte blanche <br />give away the sprinkler system requirement, even temporarily. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann pointed out that having to address the sprinkler system <br />issue in each case assures that the property owner is aware of the requirement <br />and knows that the requirement must be fulfilled as soon as city water becomes <br />available. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec withdraws his motion to adopt Resolution #84-74. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg withdraws his second to the motion to adopt Resolution <br />#84-74. <br /> <br />C/April 24, 1984 <br /> Page 11 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
