COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #6: Receiving And Acce~ting/Rejecting Bids For Public Works Equipment <br /> ~Tractor And Loader, Brush Chipper And Used Street Sweeper): <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Resolution #84-74 receiving and accepting bids on the following public <br />works equipment: (Refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-74). <br /> <br /> a) Tractor and Loade~ - Osseo Sports - 1983 John Deere - $18,739.51 <br /> <br /> b) Brush Chipper - Lindig Manufacturing - $4,445.00 <br /> <br /> c) New Street Sweeper - MacQueen Equipment - $54,128.00 (5% discount for <br /> payment within 10 days of receipt of equipment brings price to <br /> $51,422.00) along with options 3 and 5 on the proposal which total <br /> $5100.00 <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. License <br /> <br />Renewal For Minnesota Utility Contracting Clean Fill Demolition <br />Landfill; C. Anoka Landfill Grounds Reports For March 1984; <br />D. Seminar On Hazardous Materials; .E. Letter From MPCA To Waste <br /> <br />Management Of Minnesota, Inc. Regarding Minnesota Solid Waste <br />Disposal Facility Permit SW-94): <br /> <br />a) License Renewal For Anoka Landfill - <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />License Renewal For Minnesota Utility Contracting Clean Fill Demolition <br />Landfill - <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Reimann directing <br />that City Staff issue a letter to Anoka County Environmental Health <br />Department stating that the City of Ramsey would like to see the <br />license renewal for Minnesota Utility Contracting Clean Fill Demolition <br />Landfill be in effect only until November 1, 1984 and at that time <br />the site mus~ be complete and no other permits be issued. Further, <br />that the site be filled and meet County requirements for closure and <br />post-closure. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
