Mr. Goodrich replied that a rezoning public hearing between preliminary and <br />final plat approval could be worked out. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />authorizing City Staff to draft a resolution, for Council adoption at their <br />meeting of.January 24, 1984, granting conceptual approval of Flintwood Hills <br />Second Addition Planned Unit Development (P.U.D.). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Irrigation System And Well For Central Park: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the two skating rinks at Central Park are a success <br />even with water having to be hauled in; suggested that maybe lighted playing <br />fields is df a higher priority than irrigation at Central Park. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann agreed that lighted fields has always been brought up <br />as a top priority item in Ramsey parks. <br /> <br />John Lichter - member of Park and Recreation Commission - Stated that the <br />feedback the Park Commission is getting from RYAA is that irrigation is top <br />priority. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested that John Lichter contact RYAA regarding setting <br />priorities to irrigation and lighted fields. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />table this case until Council receives some feedback from RYAA and Park <br />Board regarding park priority items such as field development, lighting and <br />irrigation. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Schlueter stated that this motion may <br />seem like another delay, but hopefully it will all work out for the best. <br />Councilmember Reimann requested City Engineer Raatikaa to explore alternatives <br />to the irrigation system that has been specified and report to the Park Board <br />with these alternatives at their next meeting. It was further directed that <br />this case be put on the Council agenda for January 24, 1984. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
