Festival Committee that City Council did take inappropriate action. <br />Councilmember Sort,berg stated that he see's no reason for Council to change <br />it's actions based on one person's comments. Ms. Looyen stated that Council <br />took action on June 25 based on one person's recommendation -- that of <br />Counciln~mber Cox. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~mbers Sorteberg and <br />Schlueter. Voting No: Councilm~mber Reimann. Abstain: Councilmenber COx. <br /> <br />Councilme~ber Cox pointed out that the Park Con~ission did make a <br />recommendation on April 18 directing that the funds raised be placed in the <br />Park General Fund and that motion did carry. <br /> <br />~ ~ax Increment Financing: <br /> <br />Council unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. <br /> <br />Council reviewed the Tax Increment Development Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember COx to table action until the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember COx to adopt Resolution #85- establishing a Tax <br />Increment Financing DeveloI=nent Program in Ramsay. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilme~ber Cox and seconded by Mayor Heitman to table any further <br />action on the Tax Increment Development Program until Council's meeting <br />scheduled for July 23, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmenbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Senator Boschwitz will have a representative present at <br />City Hall on Friday, July 19 to hear issues and concerns. <br /> <br />Mr. Douglas Fountain - 15255 Garnet Street - Stated that he would like to <br />apologize to Council and Councilmember COx for his earlier r~arks regarding <br />'council~nber Cox can go suck his own eggs'. Mr. Fountain stated that he hoped <br />Council and Councilmeaber COx would accept the apology with the sincerity in <br />which it was offered. <br /> <br />Discussion Of Request For Liquor License Renewal; Case Of J,R,'s <br /> Saloon. Mr. James R. Gilbertson: <br /> <br />Mr. Sid Brennan, attorney for Mr. J. R.
