Further DiScussion: Councilmember Cox stated that he doesn't think there is <br />any validity in Ms. Flint's tapes based on ~ast doc~entation of City issues by <br />her. Mr. Goodrich stated that he will not make an interpretation of the tape <br />but he will try to get a transcript of it. Councilmember Cox stated that he <br />believes getting a transcript of the tape is a waste of taxpayer dollars; the <br />City has already agzeed to contract for the investigation of the actions of <br />people involved with that meeting; getting a transcript of the tape is an added <br />expense that isn't neoessary because the whole issue will be reviewed by <br />Council at the time the investigation results are brought forward. <br />Councilme~ber Cox stated that the amendment was made in irrational manner and <br />is inappr opziate. <br /> <br />Amendment carried.
