potential corrections in the minutes. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that Council can, or cannot, accept the correction. <br /> <br />Mr. Fountain referred to his comments in the 17th paragraph on page 20 of the <br />July 9 minutes and stated those comments would be more appropriately placed <br />under the heading of Case %11 Discussion Of Request For Liquor License <br />Renewal; Case of J.R. ' s Saloon. <br /> <br />Council consensus is that the minutes should represent the acttm] sequence of <br />events and Mr. Fountain's oomments were placed appropriately. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilme~ber Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to approve <br />the special City Council meeting minutes dated July 9, 1985 with the following <br />corrections: <br /> <br /> 1. Page 18 - 9th paragraph - second line - change to read as follows: ~ <br /> "Reimann and Schlueter. Councilme~ber COx <br /> stated that he told Mr. Berg, at that time, to explain to Mr. <br /> Gilbertson the proper procedure for requesting that a special meeting <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Heitman stated that an important factor is that <br />there is additional information available regarding this council meeting and he <br />doesn' t see any reason not to make use of that information. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilm~mber Schlueter to amend the <br />motion approving the July 9 minutes by excluding that one area of the minutes <br />on page 8 regarding Councilmeuber Reimann's comments; to direct the City <br />Attorney to review the tapes and Council can then proceed to approve that <br />portion of the minutes according to the Attorney's interpretation of the tapes. <br /> <br />July 29, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 8 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
