INTRODUCTION <br />Public and Agency Involvement <br />Public and agency participation was critical to the success of this study. Input from affected local agencies and <br />the public lends credibility to key decisions made during the project. The PMT met monthly to manage and deliver the project <br />and to consider all public, stakeholder and elected official input. <br />Study Advisory Committee <br />A Study Advisory Committee was formed to provide an opportunity for local community input and feedback to the <br />PMT. Study Advisory Committee members included planning and engineering staff from the Cities of Ramsey, <br />Anoka and Elk River, Anoka County, MnDOT and the Metropolitan Council. This committee met seven times <br />during the study to provide feedback on issues, concerns, study findings and recommendations. <br />Design Charette <br />A Design Charette is an intensive participatory planning process that brings together a multi -disciplined team to <br />add ideas and solutions to a project while it is being studied. It is an interactive and dynamic exercise in guided <br />brainstorming working to identify potential solutions to a defined problem. <br />HIGHWAY 10 ACCESS PLANNING STUDY 11 <br />
