Director of Technical Services, Clayton Berg, is also a VA Inspector and is <br />using R~sey's City Hall phone number in that endeavor; other area VA <br />Inspectors use their hc~e phone n~bers and Mr. Berg should do the same since <br />VA inspections is not a City function. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox sutmitted a handwritten letter frc~ Mr. Donald Kent to R~sey <br />City Council dated July 10, 1985 which stated the following: "In regards to <br />matters of Northern Park Development Company, I have talked to Sheila Beyer and <br />Clayton Berg no less than 50 times during working hours of both individuals <br />regarding construction projects during the last 3 months. ~e phone nt~ber I <br />used to call them was 427-1410." Councilma~ber Cox stated that he did not <br />solicit this information from Mr. Kent. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilm~mber Reimann to request <br />that City Administrator Schnelle research the issues of Mr. Berg using City <br />Hall phone number in his endeavor as a VA Inspector and Mr. Berg and Ms. Beyer <br />conducting ~private business matters while on duty at City Hall; further, that <br />Mr. Schnelle report back to Council with his findings on September 24, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Neitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember COx and seconded by Counciln~mber Reimann to adjourn <br />the special Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter.
