Vacation of old CSAH 95 in front of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the special Council meeting back to order at 7:45 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #4: Request For Sketch Plan Review Of Proposed Plat; Case Of Mr. Dick <br /> <br />Mr. Carson presented copies of a sketch plan for Holm Addition (property <br />located at Industry Avenue and Magnesiu~ Street) and requested Council's <br />conditional approval to it prior to proceeding with the cost of platting. Mr. <br />Carson noted that the approach to the new lot will be frc~ Magnesiu~ Street. <br /> <br />Mr. Sc/m%elle stated that Planning and Zoning recommended that Mr. Carson go <br />with a convenience plat and that variances be granted to topography, soil <br />borings and street grades. <br /> <br />Mr. Carson stated that the developer has no proble~ with Item 97 in City <br />Engineer Raatikka's letter dated September 10, 1985, regarding trunk storm <br />drainage assessments. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg indicating <br />Council's satisfaction with Mr. Carson's sketch plan for Holm Addition with the <br />provisions contained in Planning and Zoning's recommendation of August 12, <br />1985, City Engineer Raatikka's letter dated September 10, 1985 and City Code. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Review Of Ramse_v Board .0~ Review Action In 1985 By The State <br /> Commissioner Of Revenue: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that the County Assessor has petitioned the State Board of <br />Equalization to review action taken by Ramsey's Board of Review to reduce <br />property valuations on certain businesses. Mr. Schnelle stated, and <br />Councilme~ber COx agreed, that he is not sure it is within the realm of the <br />County Assessor's jurisdiction to bypass the County Board of Review and take <br />the matter directly to the State. <br /> September 10, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 4 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
