2. To request that Mr. Berg be present at the October 22, 1985 <br /> Council meeting to discuss this issue. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Goodrich stated that he needs more direction <br />than what is stated in the motion. Councilmember Cox stated that he <br />wants information regarding the utilization of Staff personnel <br />and time involved with the private endeavors of Mr. Berg and Ms. Beyer; <br />more information regarding VA inspections. Councilmember Cox stated <br />that Council did receive a letter indicating that no Staff time was <br />used for personal matters and this issue should be reviewed by someone <br />other than payrolled Staff in order to come up with a factual presenta- <br />tion. Mr. Goodrich inquired if he should talk to Staff members about <br />this issue. Councilmember Cox replied that Mr. Goodrich should talk to <br />Staff. Mr. Goodrich asked Councilmember Cox if he would see a problem <br />with individuals not wanting to offer information. Councilmember Cox <br />replied that he would not see it as a problem; those persons have that <br />right. Councilmember Cox stated that he can provide Mr. Goodrich with <br />a list of persons he should talk to. Councilmember Cox also noted that <br />if Mr. Goodrich sees a legal problem, he should report that back to <br />Council on October 22. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Refer to page 12 for further comments on this issue. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case ~3: Drainage Problems (Continued): <br /> <br />Council noted that all areas designated in Staff memo dated October 7 regarding <br />drainage problems will be addressed in City Engineer's report to Council on <br />October 10, 1985. <br /> <br />Glen Zettervall - 7601 163rd Lane - Inquired if his property is on the list of <br />drainage problem areas, to be addressed and stated that the water has been an <br />ongoing problem for him since April. <br /> <br />Council informed Mr. Zettervall that his property is on the list of drainage <br />problem areas. <br /> <br />Case ~1: Complete Unfinished Council Old Business From Council Agenda Dated <br /> <br />S_eptember '24 ! '1985: (Continued) <br /> <br />Case #2: Airport: <br /> <br />A. Council Endorsement Of Airport Master'Plan: <br /> <br />Airport Commission Chairman Ippel was present and reviewed the <br />proposed resolution with Council. Mr. Ippel stated that the resolution <br />simply notifies FAA, Mn/DoT and Metro Council that the plan is Ramsey's <br />Master Plan and the one Ramsey will be pursuing in ensuing studies; it <br />obligates Ramsey to no further cos{ or expenditures at this time. <br /> <br />October 8, 1985 <br /> Page 6 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
