Council recessed at 8:45 p.w. <br /> <br />Mayor Heit~an called the weeting back to order at 8:56 p.w. <br /> <br />COUNCIL N~ BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Finance.' <br /> <br />A. Accepting Price Ogo~es O~ Surge Protector For Co _wputer; <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilwewber Schlueter to adopt <br />Resolution #85-207 authorizing the purchase of a Surge Protector for the Texas <br />Instrurents computer at a cost of #2,799.00. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #85-207). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heit~an, Council~e~bers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reiwann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />B. Purchase Of IBM PC-AT Micro-computer And Relocation Of Terminal$~ <br /> <br />Motion by Councilwe~Pber Schlueter and seconded by Councilme~ber Sorteberg to <br />approve of adopting Resolution #85-208 authorizing the purchase of an IBM PC-AT <br />Micro-cowputer and relocation of terminals. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #85-208). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitwan, Councilme~rbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reiwann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />case #2'. <br /> <br />A. MSAS Revisions: <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that MSA allocations are based on population and the needs <br />generated for a MSA systew; right now Ramsey is 1/2 wile under the allocation <br />available and the following recomwended revisions will bring Ramsey closer to <br />it' s waximL~r allocation: <br /> <br />1. Extend 153rd west of Puwa to Hwy. #10. <br /> <br />2. Extend 149th from Hwy. #47 to Waco. <br /> <br />3. Extend Waco fro~ 149th to 153rd. <br /> <br />4. Delete 148th from County Rd. #5 to Xki~o. <br /> <br />5. Delete Xkimo from Hwy. #47 to 153rd. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilme~ber Reiwann and seconded by Mayor Heitwan approving the MSA <br />revisions as presented and to authorize that the revisions be forwarded to the <br />State for approval. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Council~e~ber Cox inquired if 153rd will be extended to <br />Jarvis Street. Mr. Raatikka replied that a MSA route wust begin and end on a <br /> October 22, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 12 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
