Affidavit of Publication <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />MUNICIPAL PARKING <br />FACILITY RENOVATION <br />CITY PROJECT #14-28 <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />BIDS DUE: September 17. 2014 at 2 <br />PM <br />NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS -- <br />Sealed bids will be RECEIVED until <br />2:00 p.m. September 17, 2014 by Mr. <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator for the <br />City of Ramsey at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 for the construction <br />of the Ramsey Municipal Parking <br />Facility Renovation which includes the <br />enclosure of a portion of the first level <br />parking area for city vehicle storage <br />within the existing parking structure <br />owned by the City of Ramsey. Proposals <br />will be opened and read publicly by the <br />City of Ramsey or their representative in <br />the Alexander Ramsey Room, <br />immediately after the hour set for <br />receiving bids. A Pre -bid Meeting will be <br />held at the Ramsey Municipal Center in <br />the Alexander Ramsey Room on <br />September 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM. All <br />questions asked or submitted will be <br />answered in a written addendum. <br />The City of Ramsey hereby notifies all <br />bidders: <br />Plans and specifications may be <br />examined and secured on or after <br />August 21, 2014. You may view and <br />order bid docunents by going to the <br />Franz Reprographics web site at <br />www.franzrepro.com , and selecting the <br />Franz Public Plan Room. Please <br />select project Ramsey Municipal <br />Parking Facility Renovation from the <br />list of public projects. Once you have <br />selected the project, please review the <br />Bid Details for information on ordering <br />documents. You must order documents <br />to be placed onto the official Plan Holder <br />List. To automatically receive electronic <br />notification of Bid Notices, Bid Adden- <br />dums, Construction Bulletins, <br />Shipped Order Confirmations, and <br />Electronic Downloads, for this project, <br />you roast place the fallowing email <br />address in your list of Outlook Contacts <br />and indicate that it is a Safe Sender: <br />notice@designbidbuild.net All <br />notifications are sent from this email <br />address, not from the email address of <br />the Architect or the City. If you do not do <br />this, your email server may block the <br />receipt of these notifications. The Contract (modified AIA A101) <br />is a Stipulated Lump Sum Contract. In <br />the event the bidder fails to do so within <br />said time, the bid bond/certified check <br />shall be forfeited to the City of Ramsey <br />as liquidated damages for such failure. <br />The contract shall then be deemed void <br />and of no effect unless the OWNER <br />agrees to provide additional time to <br />comply. If said bidder shall execute the <br />contract and secure the required <br />insurance and bonds, within said time, <br />his check, if furnished, shall become <br />void.
