ReGUlar For.Approval Of Issuance Of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds.[ <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember COx and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution ~85-227 approving Mr. Johnson's request for the issuance of $350,000 <br />in industrial develounent revenue bonds for the Food 'n' Fuel project and to <br />authorize the Mayor and Acting City Administrator to enter into an agreement <br />regarding this request. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Cmnsideration of Pmrmmnent ~,olovm~nt ~tatua For Police officers Jeffrey <br />Arne~on and Jmme~ Wa_v: <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos was present and stated that both officers have met and <br />exceeded expectations of them and recommended that they be placed on permanent <br />status. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Mayor Heitman to approve of <br />adopting Resolution #85-228 placing police officers Jeffrey Arneson and James <br />Way on penmlnent employment status with the City of Ramsey. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #85-228). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Goodrich stated it is not any easier to dismiss a <br />person during his probationary period than it is to dismiss a a permanent <br />employment status person. Councilmember Cox stated that the addition of <br />personnel to the deparh~ent was to have decreased the nm~ber of overtime hours <br />in that depar~ent; request that the Personnel Committee review this issue with <br />Police Chief Auspos. Councilm~nber Reimann stated that the issue would be <br />placed on the next Personnel Committee agenda and the Personnel Committee will <br />report back to Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
