Councilmember COx also pointed out
that one councilperson can conceivably stop action on a resolution because the
charter does not specify who reads the resolution when a request has been
made.

Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox, for
discussion, to request that the Charter Commission review Charter requirement
regarding reading of resolutions prior to adoption and to report back to City
Council with a recommendation that is in the best interest of the citizens of
Ramsey.

Councilmember Cox stated that in the past, if anybody wanted a resolution
February 27, 1985
