B) Request For Variance From Sign Ordinance: Case Of Mr. Jim Dickenson - <br /> <br />Council tabled this case as Mr. Dickenson was not present to sutmit a layout <br />of sign content to Council. <br /> <br />A) Introduction Of Ordinance %85-5 Vacating Easements Within Propert_v Which <br /> WAll Be Platted As Flintwood Hills Second Addition - <br /> <br />Council noted that Ordinance %85-5 was introduced to Council in the April 23 <br />agenda and will be included in the May 28 age __r~.__ for adoption. <br /> <br />B) Adoption Of Ordinance %85-.4. An Ordinance Amending Ordinance %84-13 <br /> Entitled Cit_v Funds - <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that this ordinance would establish a fund in which to <br />deposit that $.15/cubic yard tipping fee the City will be receiving from the <br />landfill. The fund is specifically geared to landfill abat~ent matters only <br />and cannot be loaned out or even use as collateral is doubtful. <br /> <br />Councilm~mber Schlueter stated that it is her understanding that the tipping <br />fees were to be used for compensation and mitigation matters; abatement deals <br />with souroe reoovery, etc. <br /> <br />Mr. Steve DeLuca of the Landfill Ad Hoc Committee was present and reaffirmed <br />Councilm~mber Schlueter's statement; designation of the fund for abatement <br />matters is inoorrect; according to the House of Representatives Research <br />Depar~ent, it would not be proper to use those tipping fees for abatement; <br />that portion of the County funds the city receives should be used for <br />abat~ent purposes. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich suggested that the ordinance be corrected and reintroduced to <br />Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to table <br />adoption of Ordinance %85-4 until the May 28, 1985 Council meeting in order to <br />allow City Staff an opportunity to research proper naming and uses for this <br />particular city fund. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Scklueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />C) Introduction Of Ordinance %85-6 Authorizing The Conve_vance Of <br /> owned_ Lana In Ramse_v - <br /> <br />Council noted that this ordinance was introduced in the addendum to the April <br />23, 1985 agenda. <br /> <br />Case ~3: <br /> <br />Adoption of Findings Of Fact In Regards To 14980 Peri~ot street <br /> NW: <br /> <br />May 14, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 9 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
