Central Park and a lot of that project could be accomplished through <br />donations rather than tax dollars. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hetland inquired if Council agrees with the Commission's idea <br />to pursue a multi-use trail through Northfork. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that Council would be willing to support the alignment <br />if it can be worked out with North Fork. The loop in Northfork should tie <br />into other parks in the city so Northfork residents will see a benefit <br />also. <br /> <br />Councilmember COx stated that Council should see the final trail alignment <br />being proposed before any action is taken. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson stated that he gets complaints of parks being locked. <br /> <br />Mr. Mevissen stated that there have been problems at Brook View Park and <br />that park is locked evenings. <br /> <br />Chairman Lichter stated that there are cables across some park entrances to <br />prevent vehicles from entering; people can use the park but no vehicles <br />should be brought into the park. <br /> <br />Ms. Dodge referred to the culverts Councilmember Cox has access to and <br />stated they could be used at the park on school grounds. <br /> <br />Case ~.. Correction Of Leqal Description Of Drainag~ Easement; <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that Mr. Jeff Larson of 4943 178th Avenue is selling <br />his proPerty and it has been determined that the legal description for the <br />drainage easement on that proPerty is incorrect. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #87-57 authorizing a corrective deed to be received from <br />Mr. Jeff Larson and spouse to the City for the same easement purposes. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-57). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Scheduled Meeting With Senator Greq Dab/: <br /> <br />Council directed Ms. Norris to tentatively schedule a meeting with Senator <br />Greg Dahl for April 9 to review legislative issues. <br /> <br />Case %8..
