Voting No: None. <br /> <br />~ ~i _rport Zoninq Ordinance: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that there is no council action necessary at this time <br />and staff will be su~itting a summary of comments su~itted at the zoning <br />hearing, any written comments that are received and comments from the <br />Department of Transportation Aeronautics Division. <br /> <br />~ Enqineerin9 Contract - Ai_rport Zoning: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that MN DoT's participation in the engineering <br />contract for airport zoning is contingent upon an acceptable audit of <br />Hakanson Anderson Associates. MN DoT cannot justify what is being <br />requested in the contract for overhead expenses and is requesting amending <br />the contract accordingly. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #87-65 authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to <br />execute Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Engineering Services Airport <br />Master Plan Study and Airport Zoning between the City of Ramsey and <br />Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. (Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution %87-65). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Reimann noted an error in Attachment A to <br />Amendment No. 1: Costs for position ofwordprocessor line item should be <br />2 hours at 26.73 for a total of $53.46. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Contracting Q~ Report: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that in his research he has found that there are several <br />functions within the Public Works Department that Council may want to <br />contract out but taking a look at the total function of that department is <br />important because many of these items are used as fill in work (i.e., <br />maintenance of right-of-way and storm sewer systems). Mr. Hartley stated <br />that the Public Works Superintendent recommends contracting out sewer and <br />water functions because Ramsey has no experience and equipment in that <br />area. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to table this case in order to allow Council time to <br />review Mr. Hartley's report and that it should be placed on the March 31 <br />Council agenda for further discussion. <br /> <br />Case #16 Repairs To City Hall: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that there are a lot of minor repairs needed at City <br />Hall and suggested that it might be in the city's best interest to enter <br />City Council/March 24, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 16 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
