development of the land. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka explained that there is a 16-1/2 foot rod of <br />property adjacent to 167th that is owned by another party and is <br />landlocking Now and Then Estates. <br /> <br />Joseph Anderson - Attorney representing Paul Bertils - Inquired if the <br />proposed improvements to 167th are approved, will the City have to acquire <br />that 16' strip of property and thereby provide access to Now and Then. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that the proposed improvement would resolve the access <br />problem, but regardless of action taken on the project, the City has the <br />right to condemn at least enough of the strip of property to provide access <br />to Now and Then. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
