Finance Officer Graczyk requested approval to pay certain bills which are <br />approaching their due date; Mayor Reimann has not reviewed these bills. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />adopt Resolution #87-205 approving payment of certain bills for the month <br />of August, 1987 contingent upon Mayor Reimann's approval. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution ~/87-205). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Cox, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Reimann. <br /> <br />Request For Funds From Revolvin~ Loan Fund; Cas~ Of Ramsey <br />Economic Development Company: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Cox noted that Gordon Oftedahl is requesting a loan from the <br />Revolving Loan Fund to clean up the site and renovate the building where <br />his business will be located. Acting Mayor Cox expressed concern with what <br />seems to be an illegal tire operation on the south end of the site and <br />inquired as to the amount of revenue generated from the steel that was <br />removed from the property. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca stated that the Economic Development Company only <br />received information regarding the cost to remove debris from the property. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />table action on Mr. Oftedahl's request for funds from the Revolving Loan <br />Fund until a determination is made regarding the tire operation on the <br />site. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Cox, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Reimann. <br /> <br />Case #1 8: <br /> <br />Renewal Of Computer Hardware And Software Maintenanc~ <br />Agreements: <br /> <br />Finance Officer Graczyk stated that August 11 is the last day of the <br />maintenance agreement for hardware and software support with Ameridata and <br />recommended renewal of software support from Ameridata through the end of <br />the year and going with Computoserv for hardware support. Mr. Graczyk <br />explained that as of January 1, 1989, Ameridata will only be supporting a <br />new financial system that will require all new hardware. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />authorizing the Mayor to sign the "Software Update Agreement" for a fee of <br />$980.00 and the "Software Support Agreement" for a fee of $100.00 for <br />coverage with Ameridata from August 12 to December 31, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Cox, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />authorize the Mayor to enter into agreements being reviewed by the City <br /> City Council/August 11, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 14 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
