can be more legal weight-wise than a school bus; noted that the 5 ton <br />regulation begins one mile in on Jarvis at 164th. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley asked for clarification on the Donovan base camp set up in the <br />~rea. <br /> <br />Mr. Rehbein stated that Donovan is a subcontractor for the Northfork <br />manmade lake project; Donovan requested leaving truck trailers in the area <br />when they are not in use as it would be more cost efficient; Rehbein gave <br />permission to do so provided the equipment is supervised to prevent <br />vandalism problems. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated Council's options as follows: 1) Take no action; 2) <br />Determine that continuing infractions of conditional use permit terms are <br />sufficient to call a public hearing to consider revocation of the permit; <br />3) Reach an agreement whereby terms of the permit can be met. <br /> <br />Dennis Peck, l~orthfork Project Manager, stated that the developers have <br />pursued to the extent of what they can do to get public and private access <br />onto Hwy. #10 to divert truck traffic from 153rd and they will continue to <br />pursue that. Mr. Peck stated that the developers are willing to meet with <br />staff and Council to try and resolve problems. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca stated that designating one individual as being <br />responsible for coordinating Northfork traffic might be helful. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the need and the efforts put forth by the City <br />and Northfork for a more suitable railroad crossing that will divert truck <br />traffic away from residential areas and provide for a safer crossing. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann directed that Northfork personnel meet to discuss concerns <br />raised at this Council meeting and formulate a plan for resolving same that <br />should be presented to city staff and City Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />table any action relating to considering revocation of Northfork's <br />conditional use permit and all truck traffic should be restricted to north <br />of 1 53 r d Avenue N.W. and Armstrong Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #19z Easement Payments For Roanoke Street N.W.; <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that it is necessary to acquire easements on the west <br />side of Roanoke Street and noted that this area is not included in the <br />Stanhope River Hills plat and were therefore not dedicated with that plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt <br />Resolution #87-262 approving payment for easements on Roanoke Street N.W. <br />to Marie B. Skiba in the amount of $1,000.00 and Reilley Estates in the <br />amount of $400.00.
