Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox noted that often times staff is more <br />anxious to pay high prices for easements than he is and suggested that <br />easement payments be toned down. Mr. Raatikka stated that for the past two <br />years, easement payments have been based on a value of $2,000/acre. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted a letter received from the Anoka County Humane Society <br />indicating animal control to Ramsey will include an annual fee and a per <br />hour rate billing for services; inquired if these costs are in addition to <br />the $5000 quoted as the annual cost for animal control services. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the $5000 annual cost for animal control was an <br />estimate by the Humane Society and includes the annual fee and itemized <br />billings at hourly rates. <br /> <br />ADJOUI{lqM~NT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adjourn the City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
