Blvd. The rear let is currently and will continue to be landlocked and <br />will be served by a private driveway easement. Ms. Norris stated that even <br />with the continuance of the landlocking and private driveway easement, the <br />platted subdivision would be an improvement over the existing metes and <br />bounds parcels. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the future transfer of the rear lot being <br />hindered by no public access but that situation exists and is not being <br />created by the minor subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />adopt Resolution #87-257 approving the final plat of Pettersen's Estates. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-257). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />C~se #3: Reques~ For Preliminary Approval Of Minor Subdivision Of <br /> Tranby Terrace; Case Of Mr. and Mrs. David Tranby: <br /> <br />Mr. and Mrs. Tranby were present requesting final plat of a minor <br />subdivision to plat a 10 acre parcel on 173rd Avenue and Armstrong Blvd. <br />into three 3 acre parcels. Access to the lots will be according to Anoka <br />County recommendations contained in William Sironen's letter dated October <br />6, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />adopt Resolution #87-258 approving the final plat of Tranby Terrace. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-258). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: B~ <br /> <br />Council directed that this case be discussed as the last item of business. <br /> <br />Case #4.A: Adopt Resolution A~mroving Monthly Bills For October. 1987; <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember $orteberg to adopt <br />Resolution #87-259 approving payment of monthly bills for October, 1987 in <br />the amount of $146,717.16. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution <br />#87-259). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox stated that the City will be <br />receiving a bill from the City Attorney for legal advice given to Ramsey <br />residents drafting a petition for referendum on the ordinance to increase <br />council salaries. Councilmember Cox stated that the taxpayers of Ramsey <br />should not be expected to provide legal services for those citizens <br />disagreeing with Council's actions. Councilmember Cox stated that there <br />should be a policy requiring citizens to obtain authorization from the City <br />Administrator or City Council prior to contacting the city's contracted <br />professional services. Councilmember Pearson questioned a bills for $3884 <br />for repairing the grader and Finance Officer reviewed the details of that <br />City Council/October 27, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 7 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
