35. Replacement of Trees <br /> <br />Mr. McDilda to draft language to establish that developers will be supplied with the approved list <br />of trees for Ramsey. The City will inspect the required plantings after one year and require <br />replacement of any dead or dying trees. Any trees required to be replaced shall be guaranteed to <br />survive for a 2 period commencing at the date of replacement. At the end of the 2 year period, <br />there shall be another inspection by City Staff. Any trees not showing signs of health shall be <br />replaced at the expense of the developer. If there are trees that have to be replaced at the end of <br />the two year period, the developer should let the City know which nursery was used just in case <br />they die again. Developer is no longer responsible for the trees after the 2 year replacement <br />period. <br /> <br />3 6. Stump Removal <br /> <br />Selected text was: "All stumps resulting from removal of street and park trees shall be removed <br />below the surface of the ground so that the top of the stump shall not project above the surface of <br />the ground, and the stump hole shall be filled. The Environmental Specialist shall have authority <br />to waive this requirement if there is a stump that should be saved for wildlife habitat or some <br />other useful purpose." <br /> <br />37.
