Tree Preservation Encroachment <br /> <br />Selected text was: "If encroachment into a tree protection area occurs which causes irreparable <br />damage to the trees, the tree protection plan shall be revised to compensate for the loss. Under <br />no circumstances shall the developer be relieved of responsibility for compliance with the <br />provisions of this ordinance, nor shall planned revision activities stop the Environmental <br />Specialist or his/her designee fi'mn instituting action for violation of this ordinance." <br /> <br />62. Landscaping in Protected Areas <br /> <br />Selected text was: "The mowing, cleating and grubbing of brash located within or under the <br />driplines of protected trees shall be allowed, provided such mowing, clearing or grubbing is <br />accomplished by hand or by mowers. The use of dozers, loaders or other construction or earth <br />moving equipment for this purpose shall not be allowed." <br /> <br />63. Tree Preservation Specifications (Introductory Sentence) <br /> <br />Selected text was: "The tree protection plan shall be submitted at the preliminary plat stage, <br />drawn to the same scale as the other plan documents prepared for a land disturbance permit <br />application on the property, and shall cover the same area. The plan shall be combined with a <br />required buffer and landscape plan for the project." <br /> <br />66. Tree Preservation Specifications Contents <br /> <br />Selected text was: "A tree survey overlay on the plat which located all grand trees identified by <br />DBH and species. Dead or diseased trees shall be identified. All tree surveys for subdivisions <br />involving the construction of roads or drainage easement shall be performed by a registered <br />forester and shall have the accuracy of plus or minus three (+3) feet. Existing contour data for <br />the entire property with a vertical contour data at an interval of no more than one foot for all <br />areas to be disturbed by proposed tree removal operations, extending for a distance of at least <br />fifty (50) feet beyond the limits of such areas. Indicated elevations shall be based on United <br />States Geological Survey datum." <br /> <br />67.
