Teens are
referred to the program by the local police departments. Juveniles attend meetings once a week for 12
weeks. They must also complete 16 hours of community service to pass the program. If a juvenile does
not complete any area of the program they do not pass and are referred back to the county court
system. Ramsey referred seven juveniles in 2013 and five passed the program.
Alexandra House
# of people served # of people served # of people served
- 2011 - 2012 - 2013
Legal Advocacy 56 54 57
Healthcare/Hospital Advocacy 6 4 8
School Based Youth Advocacy 116 123 62
Residential Emergency Shelter 4 6 10
Follow-up Advocacy 17 3 15
Support Groups - Therapy and Support
Services Program 4 4 15
Phone contact only - crisis/support 67 64 63
Financial 6 8 11
TOTAL - Unduplicated # Served
Organization Wide (#'s above reflect
overlap - client's receiving services
from different programs) 253 255 198
Legal Advocacy - Includes advocacy within the criminal and civil court systems.
