CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramscy City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Cook to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reminded snowmobilers in the City to obey the laws and be respectful of other <br />people's property. The City has received several complaints already this year about <br />snowmobiling. The Council would like to be able to continue to allow snowmobiling in the City, <br />but i t' people keep violating the laws they may be forced to be more restrictive. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec wished the citizens of Ramsey a very happy holiday season. <br /> <br />City Council/December 16, 2003 <br /> Page 2 of 33 <br /> <br /> <br />
