Sharon Dah!gren. 6328 - 143rd Lane N.W., Ramsev - stated that the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission requested that 144th Lane N.W. not be constructed as a through street: however, the <br />past City CounCil did not accept that recommendation and requested it to be developed as a through <br />street. She stated that 144th Lane N.W. is aligned in such a way that it is not easily maneuvered <br />by trucks and busses and she would prefer that the City reconsider breakaway pylons between <br />Cedar Hills and Hunters Hill on 144th Lane N.W. for emergency purposes only. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated there are valid reasons on file for not proceeding with <br />5reakaway pylons on 144th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson stated that the extension of 144th Lane N.W. is in a future phase of Cedar Hills <br />and can be reconsidered at that time. <br /> <br />Ms. Dahlgren noted there is an existing drainage problems in the area between Hunters Hill and the <br />proposed Cedar Hills Addition and inquired if there are plans to remedy this situation with the <br />development of Cedar Hills. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankows 'ki stated that the drainage needs in the area will be addressed. <br /> <br />John Lucia, Lot 4, Block 4, Hunter's Hill Addition, Ramsey - stated he was told that the size of <br />the lots wouldl be increased so that only two urban lots would back up to the rural size lots in <br />Hunter's Hill; there are almost three lots backing up to his lot. Ms. Frolik showed on the plat that <br />the lots were increased in size and for the most part, the adjacent rural lots in Hunters Hill are <br />backed up to two urban lots. <br /> <br />Motion by Cou~ncilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />~91-09-208 granting final plat approval to Cedar ~-Iills contingent upon compliance with the City <br />Staff review letter dated September 4, 1991. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mavor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Cich and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Wood Pond Projects <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Council previously authorized engineering for Windemere <br />'Woods, Cedar Hills, Chestnut Hills and Chestnut Ponds Subdivisions (Wood Pond Projects). <br />Mr. Schroederasked that Council authorize an acquisition of permanent and temporary, easements <br />and also authorize staff to enter into an appraisal agreement towards acquisition of these parcels in <br />an amount to be named by Council. Mr. Schroeder suggested that the amount not exceed <br />$2.500.00. <br /> <br />Motion bv Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to adopt Resolution <br />~) 1-09-2~)9 authorizing an acquisition of permanent and temporary, easements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mavor Gilbertson. Councilmembers Peterson. Hardin, Bever and <br />Cich. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Coancilmember Hardin and seconded by Councitmember Cich to authorize staff to enter <br />into an appraisal a~eement towards acquisition of these parcels in an amount not-to-exceed <br />$2,500.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
